Getting Started

Creating an Account

  1. Click Register in the top navigation
  2. Fill in your professional details
  3. Verify your email address
  4. Complete your profile

Enrolling in a Course

  1. Browse the Course Catalog
  2. Click on a course to view details
  3. Click Enroll to join the course
  4. Access course content from your Dashboard

Using the Case Viewer

Navigation

  • Pan: Click and drag to move around the slide
  • Zoom: Use the scroll wheel or zoom buttons
  • Overview: Click the mini-map to jump to a location

Creating Annotations

  1. Hold Shift and drag to create a rectangle
  2. Enter your annotation description
  3. Choose visibility (private or shared)
  4. Click Save

Viewing Others’ Annotations

  • My Annotations: Your personal notes
  • Peer Annotations: Annotations from classmates
  • Expert Annotations: Instructor-created highlights

Toggle visibility using the checkboxes in the annotation panel.

Live Sessions

Joining a Session

  1. Navigate to the course with the scheduled session
  2. Click Join Live Session when available
  3. Allow camera/microphone access if participating

Session Features

  • Synced View: Instructor controls the slide view for all participants
  • Chat: Send messages to instructors and peers
  • Polls: Respond to instructor questions
  • Recording: Sessions are recorded for later review

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset my password?

Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your email address. You’ll receive a password reset link.

Can I download course materials?

Some materials may be available for download. Check each lesson for download options. Whole slide images cannot be downloaded due to size and licensing.

How is my progress tracked?

The platform tracks:

  • Time spent viewing slides
  • Viewport coverage (areas examined)
  • Zoom levels explored
  • Annotations created
  • Quizzes completed

Progress contributes to your overall course completion percentage.

Why can’t I see other users’ annotations?

Annotation visibility depends on:

  • Your enrollment in the same course
  • The annotation creator’s visibility settings
  • Your role (student, instructor, etc.)

Technical requirements

  • Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions)
  • Internet: Stable broadband connection
  • Screen: Minimum 1024x768 resolution recommended

Troubleshooting

Slide not loading

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check your internet connection

Cannot join live session

  1. Ensure you’re enrolled in the course
  2. Check that the session is currently active
  3. Allow browser permissions for video/audio
  4. Disable VPN if enabled

Annotations not saving

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Ensure you’re logged in
  3. Try refreshing the page
  4. Contact support if the issue persists
