Our Commitment
Euro-CNS Pathology Learn is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including:
- Visual impairments
- Hearing impairments
- Motor impairments
- Cognitive disabilities
Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation
- All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Tab order follows a logical sequence
- Focus indicators are visible
- Skip links allow navigation to main content
Screen Reader Support
- Images have descriptive alt text
- Form fields have associated labels
- Headings are properly structured
- ARIA landmarks identify page regions
Visual Design
- Sufficient color contrast ratios
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Content does not rely solely on color to convey information
- Focus states are clearly visible
Whole Slide Image Viewer
Our WSI viewer includes:
- Keyboard controls for navigation and zoom
- Screen reader announcements for viewport changes
- High contrast mode option
- Adjustable annotation colors
Known Limitations
We are aware of some areas where accessibility can be improved:
- Complex visualizations: Some advanced slide overlays may have limited screen reader support
- Live sessions: Real-time collaboration features may have delayed accessibility updates
We are actively working to address these limitations.

Third-Party Content
Some course content may be provided by third parties. While we require partners to meet accessibility standards, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party content.
Continuous Improvement
We conduct regular accessibility audits and testing to ensure ongoing compliance. Our development team receives accessibility training to integrate best practices into new features.
